A curious thing

The building across the way provides endless hours of entertainment. Yesterday I saw a man scraping paint off the wall, eating his sandwich and talking on his mobile phone (without a handsfree set) at the same time. But most curious of all: why do people stand by the window staring outwards when they talk on their mobile phone? Is the couch not comfy?

  1. maybe looking out of the window is better consistent with the feeling of transcenting trough modern comunication technology, compared with wall staring, the wall performes poorly in suggesting endless possibilities, through texture etc. Although i doubt that this is a conscious act, performt on perpose.
